Privacy Policy

KinBridge provides a shared co-parenting workspace. This policy explains what personal information we process, why we process it, and the choices available to you under laws including the GDPR and CCPA/CPRA.

Who controls your data

KinBridge is the controller of account and service data. Privacy questions and rights requests can be sent to privacy@kinbridge.us. The operator must confirm this mailbox and add its registered company address before production launch.

Information we process

  • Account details such as name, email address, avatar, language and time zone.
  • Family workspace content, including child profiles, calendar entries, messages, expenses, receipts, handoff notes and moments.
  • Security and operational records such as sign-in events, request identifiers, pseudonymized network identifiers and device/browser information.
  • Payment and subscription identifiers. Full card details are handled by the selected payment provider and are not stored by KinBridge.
  • Cookie choices. Optional analytics data is processed only after consent.

Purposes and legal bases

  • Contract: create accounts and provide the shared workspace.
  • Legitimate interests: secure the service, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and preserve shared records needed by another family member.
  • Consent: optional analytics or marketing, where offered. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
  • Legal obligation: retain records required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention or valid legal requests.

Sharing and international transfers

Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate hosting, databases, email, storage, monitoring and payments, under appropriate contracts. Before production launch, the operator must publish the current provider list, hosting regions and transfer safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention and security

Account data is retained while the account is active. Completed privacy requests and security audit records may be retained for the period required to demonstrate compliance and protect the service. We use HTTPS, account authentication, restricted database access, operational logging and database backups. No system can guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, and may withdraw consent. Signed-in users can export or erase account data from Privacy settings. You may also contact the address above or complain to your data protection authority.

California notice

KinBridge does not sell personal information for money. The production operator must assess every advertising and analytics integration for CCPA “sale” or “sharing” and provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism before enabling any integration that qualifies. We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.

Children’s information

Child information is entered by an authenticated parent or guardian for family coordination. KinBridge is not intended for children to create their own accounts. Parents should enter only information necessary for co-parenting and must have authority to share it.

Cookies

Necessary cookies support authentication, security, language and saved privacy choices. Optional analytics cookies remain disabled until you opt in through the cookie banner. You can reopen Cookie settings from the footer.
